ZenithOptimedia announced recently that it has appointed Ernita Ariestanty as its CEO for Indonesia as the company prepares for increased activities in the country. Better known as Tanty, she was previously CEO of Carat and Vizeum Indonesia under Dentsu Aegis Network.
Tanty comes to ZenithOptimedia with more than 21 years of experience in the media field and having handled a wide range of clients and programs. In the months prior to joining ZenithOptimedia she was tasked with leading Dentsu Aegis Network’s data driven investment arm, Amplify, in Indonesia, which centralizes the network’s content offering and programmatic buying operations.
One of her most notable achievements was running the FIFA World Cup operations in Indonesia as its COO, generating the highest ever revenue for an event in the country.
“I am thrilled to be joining ZenithOptimedia during this very exciting time. The growth opportunities in Indonesia are vast and I look forward to working with the team drive these opportunities forward for our clients and the agency”, Tanty said about her appointment.
Southeast Asia CEO Gareth Mulryan said that Tanty “is a brilliant addition to our offering in Indonesia. We are very excited to have her on board and I look forward to working with her”.
In his visit to Indonesia last week, Gareth told Brava Radio that, “Indonesia is an interesting market. There are many opportunities in the Indonesian market. Although it looks to be moving slowly, I am certain that in the next few years there will be changes like in India because there are plenty of world class talents here”.
