It’s that time of the year again when Young Spikes Indonesia contestants battle for the spots to represent the country in the regional creative competition for young talents in Asia Pacific at Spikes Asia in Singapore. The big event will be held on 9-11 September at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.
At the CitaCinta Young Spikes Indonesia competition held this week, representatives from Mirum Jakarta and Dentsu Indonesia grabbed the tickets to head to Singapore and battle it out over two days against advertising talents from other parts of the region to come up with a campaign that best serve the requirement of the challenges.
The finalists pitched their ideas to a panel of judges earlier today after a briefing session on 29 August. There were four finalists for the Integrated category from Dentsu, Lowe, BBDO, and Saatchi & Saatchi and three for Digital from Celsius, Mirum, and Arcade.
Unlike in 2014, Indonesia won’t be sending representatives to the Media category but will participate in the Digital category. Planner Kevin Wijaya and graphic designer Michele Setiawan from Mirum Jakarta won the rights to compete in the Digital category, while Dentsu’s art director Rivianty Uzma Nauli and copywriter Angel Roberty will compete in the Integrated category.
