Citra Pariwara 2014: Sherly Basri on the Format of This Year’s Festival

After a reboot of the event a couple of years ago, the Citra Pariwara advertising festival seems to have finally found the format that it needs to maintain itself as the premiere awards event for Indonesia’s creative industry.

With the exhibition of finalists’ works made available for the public at epiwalk shopping enter at Rasuna Epicentrum and the awarding ceremony transformed from a formal event into an open air, DJ-powered casual affair, Citra Pariwara has been rejuvenated with a much more energized atmosphere. As lead coordinator of the event Sherly Basri told AdDiction, even clients have started to attend signifying that it is a notable function that appeals beyond those directly involved in the Indonesian advertising industry.

The organizers have also maintained the format for the youth segment, the Daun Muda and the BG categories, in which finalists will not only present to the judges but also in front of the public to test how they perform with a little more pressure.
